PAC Fundraising
 

Since its founding in 1997, CAPTEL has developed a special expertise in PAC fundraising for national business and specialty physician associations. CAPTEL has added new sources of revenue to its clients’ political action committee treasuries – keeping them competitive and growing in the new era of post -campaign finance reform.

Among the company’s long list of achievements is the development of a telephone renewal and prospecting program to compliment a national business association’s successful direct mail effort. Over a period of four election cycles (2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006), CAPTEL increased total PAC receipts by 250% and added 45,000 new, first-time contributors to the PAC. In addition, the company developed a telephone solicitation program for $1,000 and $5,000 PAC donors – adding over 1,000 new donors in these major contributor categories.

For a physician’s association, CAPTEL increased PAC giving levels by 300% in three years – catapulting the PAC in 2006 to a top ranking position among all specialty physician PACs. In order to achieve this level of success with physicians – a group of professionals known for their busy schedules -- CAPTEL developed custom communications channels for physicians to respond to PAC solicitations and interact with CAPTEL client representatives.
