The CRM (customer relationship management) application was developed exclusively for CAPTEL using Microsoft’s .NET 3.5 Framework and will run the next generation of applications and XML Web services. Database management for CAPTEL’s CRM application will be supported by SQL Server 2008 -- providing the highest levels of security, reliability, and scalability for client-critical fundraising, membership, survey research and grassroots advocacy applications. In addition, CAPTEL will complete an extensive upgrade of its hardware, including new Dell PowerEdge application and database servers running Windows Server 2008 R2. New client representative workstations operating on Windows 7 will round-out the technology re-fresh. CAPTEL is committed to providing its clients with the latest technology for enhanced performance and cost-efficiency. Since it founding in 1997, CAPTEL has upgraded / refreshed its software and hardware on four occasions – an average of once every three years.
