America's Cup champion, ESPN commentator and author Gary Jobson hosts this 39-part recap of each week's adrenaline-pumping racing action. Seven high-definition cameras positioned on board the boats capture the high drama of living and racing on the open ocean. Over the course of nine months and 39,000 nautical miles, seven 70-foot yachts battle each other and nature's extremes: mammoth 50-foot waves, stinging snow and sleet, ice-encrusted decks, oppressive equatorial heat, violent ocean storms and massive icebergs. The 10th running of this ocean marathon began in Alicante, Spain, in October 2008, and includes stopovers in India, China, Brazil, South America, the United States, Ireland, Sweden, with a late June, 2009 finish in St. Petersburg, Russia.
